What are The Most Important Skills That Become Assets in The Company?
There are two rare skills I found in a person who becomes a company’s asset, either a startup or a big company.
- Problem Findings
Not just discovering the problem, but find “the right problem”
Generally, people jump up with the conclusion on the problems they face. Yet, rarely people will dig deeper into it to find the root cause and observe whether this is the right problem. If we find the problem, but it is not the root cause, then we’ll be wasting time on solving it too. I think this is the essential skill to create improvement and challenge the status quo.
2. Problem Solvings
“To solve problems, we strive to be super logical, creative, and simple. Don’t let emotions or ego affect our decision making.”
We are all making a better world by solving problems. It is not easy to cause when striving to solve it, we will be dealing with the other human (that will involve emotions when there are disagreements, which is excellent too cause it will upgrade our perspective if it’s constructive) and need to be on the same page to agree with the way we want to solve it. Apart from it, we need to be super creative and have simplicity. If we think in a complicated way, or just for the formality, we may generate more problems. Thus, first, we need to set the right objective when we want to solve problems. Then, think of many other ways by adding “what If…..” to reach the purpose, not just to impress or for the sake of your boss orders.
